MALAYSIA SOFTIMAGE USER'S GROUP

Introduction

The Malaysia Softimage User's Group was form with a vision to group up talented animator in the country to bring a better quality worked force that can compete with the develop world. In another word we are trying to protect the interest of animator toward a better and more secure future. To do this we had to stand together united in a group because animator is one of the smallest groups of people around the world.

Many had claim themselves as animator without a proper guideline, and due to the cheap employment way of many company which leak the knowledge or care less about the quality of their work leading to a poor quality work being seen on the local media. Our motive is to bring about more qualify animator in this region with the capability to cope up with the increasing moving technology of software and hardware. Our motto is " to be the best among the best with honesty and sincerity" and our believed is there is no impossibility if you put effort in something. Our aim is to see to the future of animator in this country are better and more quality work are produced form this country.

Cofounder

Tung Kok Thong proceeds his Graphic Design Diploma course in 1995 at Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA). During his study, he gains his experience by working as a part-time DTP artist. After the graduation, he worked for MIA Art & Design Centre as a graphic designer. He started learning Softimage 3D part-time course in 1999 at Institut Teknologi Universal (ITU).
